All the women’s finalists at the Strandja 2025 are known, after the semifinals bouts held in Sofia Sports Hall yesterday. Bulgaria’s Zlatislava Chukanova, who participated in the 50 kg weight class, amazed the spectators achieving her third victory at this tournament, winning every contest by unanimous decision. Chukanovadefeated her rivals from France, Kazakhstan and Turkey, and in the finals she will box against Romane Moulai from France.

Another two Bulgarian representatives in women’s semis, Sevda Asenova and Venelina Poptoleva, also won their bouts and advanced to the finals, which will be on programme on Sunday.

Team Kazakhstan has seven finalists, China has three, Turkey, France, Chinese Taipei and Greece will have two boxers in the finals each, while Italy, England and Kosovo have one representative.

Men’s semifinals will be boxed on Saturday, starting at 2pm and 5.30pm. As previous days, the livestream will be available on the official YouTube channel of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation.
