International tournament among school age and junior boxers, the 13th Zagreb Open, is completed. The event lasted from 9 – 13 October, and this year gathered 115 boxers from 11 countries. The organizer of the tournament was the Zagreb Boxing Association, with the support of the Croatian Boxing Federation. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Moldova, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine took part at this traditional tournament. The venue was the magnificent Zagreb Boxing Center.

The EUBC Technical Delegate was Mrs Olga Shevelovafrom Ukraine, an experienced international technical official.

After four competition days, all medal winners are known. The best junior boys boxer is Nord Koblencs Rudens from Latvia, while the best junior girls boxer is Karolina Kollarova from Slovakia. The best boxer among schoolboys is Alexandru Bujor from Moldova, and the best boxer among schoolgirls is Ajna Halilovic from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
