The 6th Zagreb Grand Prix international tournament was successfully completed in the Croatian capital city. Grand finale was held yesterday at the Zagreb Boxing Center, and the spectators could see ten interesting bouts among elite men. This year’s edition of the tournament had 63 boxers from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, England, Germany, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia and Ukraine.
Before the finals, the President of the Croatian Boxing Federation Mr. Bono Bosnjak welcomed all in attendance, and presented certificates of appreciation to the technical delegate Mr. Adam Kusior, and to other individuals, friends of the Croatian Boxing Federation.
The most successful team in the finals is team Croatia with three champions. Patrik Licul (63,5kg), Gabrijel Debanic(75kg) and Luka Pratljacic (+92kg) have climbed to the highest pedestal. England and Moldova won two gold medals each. Rio Gordon (71kg) and Kyle Shaw (80kg) are the champions representing England, and Alexandru Paraschiv (67kg) and Andrei Zaplitni (92kg) won the gold medals for Moldova. Baskhim Bajoku (54kg) from Kosovo, Alen Rustemovski (60kg) from North Macedonia and Nikita Gorbatenko (86kg) from Bulgaria are also champions of the 6th Zagreb Grand Prix.
