After six days of boxing, and 220 bouts among the youth men and women, the Youth World Boxing Cup Adriatic Pearl 2024 was successfully completed in Budva, Montenegro. Twenty-five spectacular finals were held in Petrovica Hall of Hotel Splendidlast Sunday, after which there were amazing fireworks which marked the end of another great event organized in this city.
The best male boxer of the tournament is outstanding welterweight from Kazakhstan Torekhan Sabyrkhan, while the best female is Nikita Chang from India, who boxed in the lightweight division. Trophy for the boxer with the most technical skills went to Cuban Yurisniel Ardiles Abreu, and the best local boxer was Milos Roganovic from Montenegro. In team’s standings, the first place went to Russia with eight gold medals, second went to India who has won five, and the third place belonged to Poland with three gold medals. The best R&J of this prestigious event is EvgeniaShestopalova from Russia, and the best local R&J is Rade Vujovicfrom Montenegro.
This year’s edition of the Youth World Boxing Cup brought in Budva altogether 245 boxers from 22 countries. There were 93 women and 152 men from three continents, Europe, Asia and America, which made the tournament the most visited in history. The event itself was organized at a high level. All participants were accommodated in two 5-star hotels, Splendid and Montenegro, located on the beach of the Adriatic Sea. The Montenegro Boxing Association once again showed their professionalism, continuing the tradition of organizing major events better and better each time.
