This year’s competition gathered 330 boxers from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, IBA – B, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. 220 men and 110 women boxers will fight for the medals and try to leave Porec crowned with the European title.

There will be ten competition days, with boxing starting on Thursday, 4 April. The rest day is planned for 13 April, and all the finals will be boxed on Sunday, 14 April.

City of Porec was the host place of the EUBC U22 European Boxing Championships two years ago. The Croatian Boxing Federation did a very good job in regards to organization of the event in 2022, and the same is expected this time. Interesting fact can be that exactly ten years ago the same European championships was held in Croatia’s capital city of Zagreb.
