International boxing tournament in memory of ArturInnokentievich Pakhomov, famous Russian coach, started in Yakutsk, Russia on Tuesday. Event is organized for the junior boys age group, and it will last until Saturday, 14 September, when the finals will be held in the Sports Hall 50 Years of Victory. Participating countries are Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Russia, with altogether 75 boxers.

Artur Innokentievich Pakhomov was an honoured coach of Russia, who lived in Yakutsk. He was a long time one of the coaches of the Russian national team, and a personal coach of Gerorgy Balakshin, three times European champion, World and Olympic bronze medallist, and Vasilii Egorov, two times European champion and World silver medallist.
