Another great international boxing tournament in Croatia is going to be held in its capital city of Zagreb. Elite men boxers, competing in eight weight categories, are going to box in the Zagreb Boxing Center from 3 – 8 December. This is going to be 6th edition of the event organized by the Croatian Boxing Federation.
According to the preliminary entry forms, the organizer expects around one hundred boxers from sixteen countries. Just like the previous years, all medallists will receive money prizes. Technical meeting and official draw are planned for 3 December, and the boxing will start one day later and last until 7 December. The tournament is open for the following weight categories: 63,5 kg, 67 kg, 71 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 86 kg, 92 kg and +92 kg.
Last year’s Zagreb Grand Prix international boxing tournament had 51 boxers from 14 countries: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, England, Spain, Italy, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia and Ukraine.
