The city of Kielce in Poland is well known in the boxing world, especially in Europe. Kielce is the host city of a traditional international tournament each year organized in memory of Leszek Drogosz, three times European champion and Olympics bronze medallist. Kielce was host city of the IBA Youth World Championships in 2021, too. This month, from 22 – 29 September, this city will hold the 39th Felix Stamm International Boxing Tournament.

Elite men and women will compete in 13 men’s and 12 women’s weight categories. The organizer is the Polish Boxing Association, and the venue will be Sports Hall Widowiskowo. Arrival day is 22 September, boxing will start on 23 September, and the finals are planned for 27 September.

Feliks Stamm is a historical figure in Polish boxing. He was a coach whose authority and achievements were admired by the whole world. The Polish Boxing Association first organized a tournament in his memory back in 1997.
