Tomislav Djinovic, the lightweight from Montenegro, is the best boxer of the famous 61st Belgrade Winner international tournament, which finished last night in the Serbian capital city. After four great victories against athletes from Hungary, Serbia, Armenia and Russia, Djinovic deserved this prestigious trophy.
It was a truly spectacular night in Aleksandar Nikolic Sports Hall, the venue that will be used next month when Belgrade will host the best European boxers. This was an excellent check prior to the EUBC Men and Women European Boxing Championships, and the Serbian Boxing Federation proved once again their organizational skills and abilities.
This year the event attracted 128 boxers from Bolivia, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Spain, France, Hungary, IBA Neutral, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Russia, Slovenia and Serbia. There were 35 among elite women and 93 among elite men. Besides Djinovic, there were many more trophies awarded. Boxer with the best technique among men is RamazanDadaev from Russia, and among women Sara Miljkovic from Serbia. The best foreign boxers are Sharabutdini Ataev from Russia and Michel Davina from France. The best boxer among women is Kristina Kulhulova from Serbia. The best local boxers are Vladan Babic and Dragana Jovanovic. Trophies for the most competitive bouts among men and women went to Nazif Sejdi(SRB) vs. Antar Badr (FRA) and Natalia Sadrina (SRB) vs. DeaBolanca (CRO). The most successful team among men izKazakhstan, among women is Serbia, and the best R&J is BlazoJabucanin from Montenegro.
