Amazing atmosphere at the Lagator Sports Hall in the city of Loznica last night during the elite men’s and women’s finals of the Balkan Boxing Championships. A huge crowd came to support local boxers on the last day of the competition which started seven days ago. The main part of the program started at 4 pm, and it was broadcasted on national TV. The Serbian Boxing Federation once again showed their ability to organize major events.
The Balkan Boxing Championships was organized among junior, youth and elite boxers for men and women. At the end, the most successful team is team Serbia. Second place went to Ukraine, and the third place belonged to Bulgaria.

The best elite men boxer – Rastko Simic (Serbia)
The best elite women boxer – Sara Cirkovic (Serbia)
The best youth men boxer – Artur Kuzmenko (Ukraine)
The best youth women boxer – Mehmed Aleyna Nedzimi (Bulgaria)
The best junior men boxer – Nikola Bogatinovski (Serbia)
The best junior women boxer – Lorena Horvat (Croatia)
The best R&J – Evgheny Gonchar (Moldova)
‘The Lagator Sports Hall justified the epithet as “Temple of Boxing”. I am very happy that after many years the venue was full again and I believe that this is a new beginning for boxing in the city of Loznica. I am really satisfied with the result of our national team,’ said the President of the Serbian Boxing Association Mr. Nenad Borovcanin.
