The European Boxing Championships started in the Slovenian city of Maribor. This time, the best European Schoolboys & Schoolgirls boxers, aged 13 and 14 years old, are going to compete for the medals. Altogether 380 boxers, including 257 boys and 123 girls are participating.
Following countries will box in Maribor: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, IBA – Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Georgia, IBA – Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine.

The IBA Technical Delegate, Mr. Adam Kusior from Poland, led the Technical Meeting and Official Draw on August 16th, while the first session is on program today. Boxing will start at 3:00 pm in the Leona Štuklja University Sports Center, Maribor. The program will continue at the same time every day until August 24th (the rest day), and the finals are on the program on August 25.

The Slovenia Boxing Association represented by President Robert Reher and the EUBC competition managers Dragoljub Radovic and Radek Chojnowski are working hard with the LOC.

There will be live streaming available on the EUBC official YouTube channel, and the results will be displayed at the EUBC official website.
