52 quarter-finals bouts among junior boys were held yesterday at the EUBC Junior Boys and Girls European Boxing Championships in Sarajevo. 17 national teams will have representatives in the semi-finals that will be boxed today at the Hotel Hills. Program will start at 2 pm with the first session, with the second session starting at 5.30 pm. All bouts will be streamed on the official EUBC YouTube channel.
After the boys’ quarter-finals, the team with the most boxers in the final stage of the championships is Russia. Just like in the girls’ competition, the Russian team showed dominance at this event, and they will have 10 boxers in today’s programme. Armenia follows with 7 boxers, while Serbia has 6. Tomorrow is rest day in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital city, and the finals are on programme at 1 pm and 5.30 pm on Sunday, 30 June.
