International tournament in memory of the first President of Chechen Republic and the hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov was held in Grozny from 2 – 8 September. 102 elite men boxers from sixteen countries fought at the Colosseum Sports Hall.
Teams from Russia and Uzbekistan shared gold medals after thirteen finals were boxed on Sunday. Belarus had three silver medalists, Dzinis Solotsky in the 54kg, Aleksandr Radzionov in the 71kg and Nikita Nahorni in the +92kg, while Amin Kushkov from Azerbaijan, who competed in the 75kg, also won the silver medal.
