Dracula Open Tournament started few days ago in Ploiesti, Romania. This year is the third edition of this competition and the organizer, Romania Boxing Federation, established a new record of boxers in the competition: 350 boxers from 22 countries.
Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Ukraine, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Serbia, Bulgaria, Spain, Walles sent boxers, junior and youth, for this important competition which has World and European champions.
The Romanian Boxing Federation hosted first edition of succesful Dracula Youth & Junior Open in 2022 in the city of Brasov. Was 22 countries and 280 participants. Last year, in Arad, was 320 boxers from 25 countries.
The venue of the Dracula Open is the Olimpia Hall in the city of Ploiesti, which hosted last year EUBC European Junior Championships. The competition, scheduled for 7 days, is on two rings until finals. On 17 february will be finals of female, junior and youth, and on 18 It will be finals of male boxers, junior and youth.
