The Polish Boxing Association celebrated a significant milestone of a 100th year Anniversary on June 9-10. The event was marked by two days of celebration in Kielce, as the entire Polish boxing family came together.
It was accompanied by many attractions such as boxing fairs, competitions held on four rings, a boxing gala and ceremonial ball to observe and honour the work during the century long existence of the highly acclaimed Polish Boxing Association.
EUBC President Dr. Ioannis Filippatos was specially invited to Kielce, where he participated in the activities. He later congratulated the PBA President Grzegorz Nowaczek and his team for an excellent commemoration of the anniversary. The President also commended the Polish Minister of Sport, Joanna Krupka, who graced the proceedings with her presence during the entire event. The three dignitaries spent time together discussing the future of boxing.
President Nowaczek can be proud of the organization, which was at the highest level and standard.
