The Youth World Boxing Cup Adriatic Pearl 2024 has come to the final stage. After four days of the competition, all medalists are known at this world-class event. The semi-finals bouts are on programme today, while the grand finale is going to take place tomorrow, starting at 12 pm.
The 2024 edition of this international tournament has gathered 22 countries, with 245 boxers. This fact makes the 2024 Youth World Boxing Cup the most visited in its history, first time organized 33 years ago. The best boxers from Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cuba, France, Georgia, Greece, India, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Mexico, North Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey arrived to Budva aiming to achieve their goals, and win some of the medals.
The most successful teams this time are India and Russia with 26 medals each. Kazakhstan is the next country with 16 secured medals, while Poland succeeded to win 9 medals. Besides those teams, medals also went to Cuba, Greece, Mexico, Azerbaijan, Austria, Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, France and Georgia.
First session of the finals in Petrovica Hall at Hotel Splendidwill start at 12 pm. There will be 19 bouts with the medal ceremonies divided in four parts. The main program, six bouts, is planned for 7 pm.
