European boxers won five more medals on day six at the Olympic games in Paris. Five men who boxed in the 51 kg, 80 kg and +92 kg weight categories are now two more steps from the Olympic champion title.

Bennama Bilal and Aboudou Djamili-Dini from France, Oleksandr Khyzhniak from Ukraine, Ayoub Ghadfafrom Spain and Nelvie Tiafack from Germany are now Olympic medalists. They will fight their next matches on 4 and 7 August.

Women’s part of the competition yesterday had bouts in the 57 kg weight category. That was the last 16 phase, and three European boxers managed to win their contests. Svetlana Kamenova from Bulgaria, Esra Yildiz from Turkey and Julia Szeremeta from Poland defeated their rivals by unanimous decision, and they will fight for the medals on 4 August.
