This year’s last European Championships was an under-22 women’s and men’s tournament that ended with great success.
Montenegro has hosted several previous competitions, such as the European under-22 Championships, the European Elite Women’s Championships and the European Elite Men’s Cup.
Once again in Budva we witnessed an amazing tournament organised at the highest organisational level.
A total of 33 countries competed for medals:

The best team was Russia with 18 medals, 9 gold, 8 silver and 1 bronze. In second place was Turkey with 12 medals, 2 gold, 2 silver and 8 bronze, while third place went to Italy with 6 medals, 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.

A big congratulations to all the athletes who competed in this tournament, many of them with their great performance in the ring and talent, which shows that the development of boxing on the European continent is going in the right direction.
We are already looking forward to next year 2024 and the European Championship tournaments and promise to do everything we can to raise the level even higher.
