The host of the competition is the city of Budva from 06 October to 15 October. On October 7 at 19:00 the Technical meeting and draw took place. Present at the start of the presentation were President of the Boxing Federation Alexander Klemenko, Deputy Major of Budva city Nikola Jovanovic and EUBC President Dr. Ioannis Filipppatos, EUBC Technical Delegate Franco Facinelli and EUBC Competition Manager Dragoljub Radovic. Mr. Klemenko thanked for the trust and the opportunity to organize the first European Boxing Cup in Montenegro, and warmly welcomed everyone who came to participate in the event.Then Mr. Nikola Jovanovic welcomed all the visiting national teams, also assured his full support as deputy Major of Budva.

EUBC President Dr. Ioannis Filippatos recognized and thanked for the great organization of the tournament, the work and commitment of Mr. Alexander Klemenko and his LOC team so that athletes could compete for medals and fulfill their dreams, EUBC President also addressed his thanks to IBA President Umar Kremlev, who provided support and for the first time in history such large financial awards for boxers. He added, “I don’t box, but I know how important it is to support the athletes and National Federations, together with the IBA and Mr. Umar Kremlev we will do everything to support such a difficult sport and reward the hard work of the boxers.”
For winning first place, the prize is $15,000, second place is $10,000, third place is $5,000, and fifth place boxers receive $1,000.
The Technical Meeting and

Draw was led by the Honorary President of the EUBC, who at the current competition is also the Technical Delegate Mr. Franco Facinelli. He presented the rules of the EUBC Cup, and then the draw was conducted.

A total of 156 boxers from 30 national teams will participate in the competition:

Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Malta,Moldova, Montenegro, IBA-Holland, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and two IBA neutrals. Eighteen R&J and eight ITO’s will be working on the competition, and the competition venue is the Mediterranean Sport Center.

The boxers’ competition begins on October 8, with the opening ceremony starting at 13:30, followed by the first series of fights from 14:00, on the following days from October 9 to 13 there will be two session of bouts at 13:30 and 17:30, and the finals in 13 weight categories on October 14.
