The 2nd Enrique Rodriguez Cal Memorial Tournamentfinished yesterday in Mostoles, Spain. It was a great event organized by the Royal Spanish Boxing Federation for the elite men and women age group. Altogether 102 boxers, 64 men and 38 women from eleven countries took part in this competition.

Tournament lasted five days. There were 81 bouts in total boxed at the Polideportivo Los Rosales sports hall. The best team in the final ranking is team England. They won six gold medals, three among men and three among women. Second place belonged to the host country, who won five gold medals, while the third place went to France, with four champions.

The best female boxer is Marta Lopez from Spain, who boxed in the 50 kg weight division, and achieved four great victories. Her teammate, Paris 2024 Olympian Rafael Lozano Jr, got the same trophy in the men’s competition. He competed in Mostoles in the 51 kg weight category, and had two victories against boxers from Spain and England.
