During the European Junior & U-23 Championships in Armenia, EUBC Secretary General Mr. Kirill Shchekutyev, on behalf of EUBC President Dr. Ioannis Filippatos and the EUBC Board of Directors, presented a special recognition to Mr. Waldemar Mencel for his outstanding and long-standing contribution to the European Boxing Confederation.

This honour acknowledges Mr. Mencel’s many years of dedicated service to European boxing — especially his commitment as a Technical Delegate and his efforts to raise the standards of refereeing and judging across the continent. His professionalism and dedication have strengthened cooperation among national federations and promoted the sporting values that define our sport.
