From 2 to 13 December 2025, Dubai will host the International Boxing Association (IBA)’s Men’s Elite World Championships — a historic two-week “Festival of Boxing” bringing together top boxers from around the world.

Record-Breaking Prize Fund

The total prize pool exceeds USD 8 million — the largest ever in amateur boxing.

In each weight category:

1st place (Gold): USD 300,000

2nd place (Silver): USD 150,000

3rd place (Bronze): USD 75,000

5th place: USD 10,000, which means even athletes outside the podium are rewarded for reaching the highest level of competition.

Fair Distribution — Everyone Counts

Prize money is shared among the key contributors to an athlete’s success. The split is as follows:

50% for the boxer

25% for the coach

25% for the national federation

This structure recognises the full team behind every fighter — from daily training to long-term federation support.

Why It Matters

These Championships represent more than medals and rankings. For many athletes, including those from developing boxing nations, even a top-eight finish and its financial reward can create life-changing opportunities. The prize system highlights the commitment of athletes and acknowledges the essential work of coaches and national organisations.

Dubai 2025 stands as a celebration of the sport worldwide. As part of the IBA “Festival of Boxing,” the event aims to elevate amateur boxing on the global stage and ensure equal opportunities for fighters from every continent.

We invite fans, media, and the entire boxing community to follow the event closely. Prepare for thrilling bouts, unforgettable moments, and stories that reach far beyond the ring.
