The Technical Meeting took place at the Olympavan Hotel and EUBC’s President, Dr. Ioannis Filippatos was in attendance. He encouraged all teams to abide by all rules and reminded the coaches that their priorities are the athletes first and foremost and to let sport be sport.
President of the Armenian Boxing Federation also warmly welcomed all participants and wished everyone success and a good stay in Yerevan. The meeting had a section dedicated to the EUBC Code of Conduct and the Ethics Committee Jean-Francois Reymond and Athlete Committee Chair, Ani Hovsepyan reminded all delegations about the importance of good conduct during the championships.

The continental championships is the second to be hosted by the Armenian Boxing Federation in just under one year. In May 2022, they hosted the Elite Men’s European Championships, an event that was undoubtedly one of the best organized championships ever. Participants expect the same standard this time also.

The first session starts at 1:00pm on April 25th at the Mika Sport Hall, followed by the Opening Ceremony at 5pm and then the second session at 6pm. The championships will end with the men and women’s finals on May 4th and all the bouts will be streamed on the official EUBC YouTube channel (see link below).
