The Belarusian Boxing Federation is going to organize the 21st Liventsev international boxing tournament from 13 – 19 November. This memorial event will be held in the city of Minsk, at the capital’s Sports Palace, and it will be among the elite men and women age group. The last year edition of this competition had 107 participating boxers, 23 women and 84 men from eight countries.

Arrival day in Minsk will be 13 November. Technical meeting and official draw will be on the same day, while the competition days are from 14 – 18 November.

‘We are happy to have top athletes from Armenia, Belarus, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kongo and Turkmenistan at our tournament this time, and we expect around 140 participants. As always our main goals are further development and popularization of boxing in the Republic of Belarus, improving the skill level of leading athletes, selection of the strongest athletes for the national team and promoting of physical culture and sports and healthy lifestyle. The Belarusian Boxing Federation will do its best to organize this traditional event at high level, and we would like to express our gratitude to the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus, the National Olympic Committee of Belarus and the Minsk City Executive Committee for their support’, stated Svetlana Naumchik, the Secretary General of the Belarusian Boxing Federation.
