The IBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Budva, Montenegro came to an end. After the rest day on 1 November, the first part of finals was held yesterday. In the truly amazing atmosphere of the Mediterranean Sports Centre, thirteen World champions were crowned.
There were 13 bouts, six among women and seven among men. The most successful teams of yesterday’s finals are Kazakhstan and Russia, who managed to win three gold medals each. China, Ireland and Uzbekistan have two champions each, while Mexico won the gold medal in the first bout of the program.
World champions by the weight category are:

Men 54 kg – Viacheslav Rogozin (Russia)
Men 60 kg – Platon Kozlov (Russia)
Men 67 kg – Sabyrkhan Torekhan (Kazakhstan)
Men 75 kg – Sanzhar-Ali Begaliyev (Kazakhstan)
Men 86 kg – Akmaljon Isroilov (Uzbekistan)
Men +92 kg – Adam Olaniyan (Ireland)
