The Boxam, an international tournament for various age groups started yesterday in La Nucia, Spain. Schoolboys and schoolgirls, junior and youth boxers from twelve countries will compete at this event during the next few days. Bulgaria, Colombia, England, France, Georgia, Iceland, Latvia, Mexico, Romania, Spain, Tunisia, and Wales are participating nations in 2024.

The organizer of the tournament is the Royal Spanish Boxing Federation. The EUBC Technical Delegate is Mr. Viorel Sima from Romania. Competition started yesterday, and the finals will be held on 12 October. All the bouts will be live streamed on the official YouTube channel of the Royal Spanish Boxing Federation https://www.youtube.com/@federacionespanoladeboxeof1112/streams.

The Boxam edition 2024 gathered altogether 173 boxers. There are 24 schoolboys and 4 schoolgirls, 46 junior boys and 21 junior girls, and 57 youth men and 21 youth women.

Second competition day will start at 4 pm. There will be 38 bouts on two rings.
