Everything is ready for the 2nd International Boxing Tournament Enrique Rodriguez Cal “Dacal World Cup – 2024” in the town Mostoles, located next to Madrid. The organizer of the tournament, the Royal Spanish Boxing Federation, will host around one hundred boxers from ten countries. They are confident that it will be another successful event on their land, and that all participants will enjoy the competition, as well as their capital city of Madrid.

Technical meeting and official draw will be done tomorrow, on 23 September, boxing will start the following day, and the finals will be organized on Saturday, 28 September. This will be the second edition of the tournament dedicated to Mr. Enrique Rodriguez Cal “Dacal”, the first Olympic boxing medallist from Spain (Munich ’72).

According to the preliminary registration, boxing aficionados in Madrid will have the opportunity to watch some of the highly decorated boxers. There should be Spanish European champions Martin Molina and Gabriel Escobar, European bronze medalist and Olympian Rafael Lozano Serano, European U22 vice-champion from France Sthelyne Grosy, as well as multiple European champion and Olympian Bojana Gojkovic from Montenegro, and her countryman, two times European champion among youth and U22, strong cruiserweight Petar Lijesevic.
