The city of Gori in Georgia was the host of the international boxing tournament held in memory of Giorgi Kandelaki, famous Georgian boxer, ex World and European champion. Eight countries participated at this event, which was organized for the men’s elite age group. There were 64 boxers from Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Estonia, Turkey and Iran. 

After five days of boxing, the best team was Georgia, with five gold and seven silver medals. Second place went to Armenia, with four gold and four silver, while the third place belonged to Kazakhstan, whoes boxers won three gold medals. The best boxer of the tournament was Abilkan Zhussupov from Kazakhstan.
