Youth European champion Viacheslav Rogozin from Russia is the best boxer of the Eurasian Dauria Cup, international tournament among youth men that was held in the Russian city of Chita in Zabaykalsky Krai from 26 – 31 August. Rogozin competed in the 54 kg weight category, and in the finals was better than his opponent from Mongolia.

“I had three bouts here in Chita, and all of them against very tough opponents. I fought against boxers from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Mongolia in the finals, whom I defeated by the RSC. I am in great shape, like never before, and I am looking forward to the IBA Youth World Championships that will be in Montenegro,” Viacheslav Rogozin claimed.

The event was organized at the highest level, with the money prizes for all medal winners. 120 boxers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cuba, Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Korea, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Venezuela took part in the 1st Eurasian Dauria Cup.
