City of Banja Luka in the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the host of European boxing these days, while the EUBC Schoolboys & Schoolgirls European Boxing Championships is taking place there from 1 – 11 August. Mr. Adam Kusior held the technical meeting and official draw in hotel Bosna, and there is confirmed participation of thirty countries. Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey have their representatives at this competition.
There are 363 boxers in total, 240 boys and 123 girls. Boxing starts today with the first session at 3 pm, and second session at 6 pm. All the bouts will be boxed at the Borik Sports Hall, and will be streamed live on EUBC official YouTube channel. Rest day will be on 8 August, and all finals bouts will be on programme on 10 August.
