The EUBC Technical Delegate from Poland, Mr. Adam Kusior, has run the Technical Meeting and Official Draw at the Algirdas Socikas international tournament in Kaunas, Lithuania. Boxers from ten countries take part this year. There are altogether 70 athletes from Armenia, England, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Scotland, Ukraine and Wales. Boxing starts today, and will continue until 23 March, when the finals will be held. There is a livestream provided on the official Facebook page of the Lithuanian Boxing Federation. 

Algirdas Socikas was a Lithuanian famous boxer. He was two times European champion (Warsaw, 1953 and Berlin, 1955) in the heavyweight category, six times Soviet Union champion, and three times Baltic champion.
