The Riga Ladies Boxing Cup is going to be held in Latvia’s capital from 7th – 11th March. It will be the 5th edition of this women’s tournament, organized in all age groups, schoolgirls, juniors, youth and elite, and the Technical Delegate appointed by the EUBC this time will be Mr. Waldemar Mencel from Austria. The Director of the tournament is Mr. Oskar Bokis, whose daughter Nikolina was representing Latvia’s boxing through several years. She was a multiple National Champion, and European junior silver medalist from Galati, Romania in 2019.

Tournament was first organized in 2018, but because of the Covid pandemic they had to take a two years break. Last year’s event gathered boxers from sixteen countries. Altogether 90 participants boxed for the medals at the Hanzas Sport Hall. The best boxer in the elite women’s category was BeatriseRozentale from Latvia, bronze medalist from the U22 European Championships in 2022.
