The Sport Entries Check of the EUBC European Men’s Elite Boxing Championships confirmed the final number of boxers is 219 from 39 nations in the event. All of the 39 registered countries arrived to the impressive venue of the third European continental championships of the year.
The competition period of the EUBC European Men’s Elite Boxing Championships in Yerevan, Armenia is May 23-30. The event will open with its Technical Meeting, Official Draw, Grand Opening Ceremony and the Opening Dinner today. The Armenian Boxing Federation never hosted any elite championships yet therefore the competition is one of the most important events in the country in the recent decades.
The new edition of the EUBC European Men’s Elite Boxing Championships will confirm the 13 new European Champions in the day of the finals on the 30th. Among the titleholders, Armenia’s Artur Hovhannisyan, Hovhannes Bachkov, Spain’s Gabriel Escobar and Ukraine’s Oleksandr Khyzhniak are ready to defend their thrones.
