On 21 June the best European junior boys and girls boxers will travel to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Few days later, on 23 June, the first bouts will start at the Sports Hall of the famous Hotel Hills. Athletes, 15 and 16 years old, will have a new opportunity to fight for the European medals, and Sarajevo is ready to host another major event within a three years period.

The registration is open until Monday, 10 June. Up to now there are over 300 boxers from 30 countries registered to participate at the EUBC Junior Boys and Girls European Boxing Championships. The EUBC Technical Delegatewill be very experienced official from Austria Mr. Waldemar Mencel. The Opening Ceremony is planned for 23 June, the rest day will be on 29 June, and the finals bouts will be on 30 June.

Last year’s edition of the Europeans for this age group was held in Ploiesti, Romania. This event gathered as many as 378 boxers from 32 countries.
