The city of Budva at the Adriatic Sea in Montenegro has been a popular boxing location during the last five years. This attractive Mediterranean city was host to many major boxing events such as four European Championships, European Boxing Cup and two Youth World Cup events. The Montenegro Boxing Association is known for their organizational abilities, confirmed many times by all participants that visited Budva. Therefore, it’s not surprising that the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships will be organized exactly at this place.

The event will take place from 20 October – 6 November. According to the same competition, held two years ago in Spain, around 600 youth men and women boxers from around 70 countries are expected to participate in Budva, where the first Coordination Visit, and necessary meetings between the LOC and the IBA representatives, is planned for the next month.
